      Volunteer Gardening at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens

      Volunteers are needed to assist Vizcaya’s Horticulturist, David Hardy, and his team with special projects that will enhance the visual appearance and natural environment of the historic Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.|| DATE & TIMES ||Every Thursday, 9am to 12pmEvery first and third Saturday, 9am to 12pm|| NEED TO KNOW || Minimum age with an adult is 16. 18+ can sign up and take part on their own. Volunteers must bring their own gardening/work gloves to ensure their hands are protected. Gloves will not be provided onsite. Volunteers are advised to bring along sunscreen and mosquito repellent or apply before you arrive. Volunteers should dress comfortably for outdoor landscaping/gardening work. A hat and sunglasses will make you even more comfortable!
