      Today I asked my body what she needed which is a big deal considering my journey of Not Really Asking That Much I thought she might need more water. or protein. or greens. or yoga. or supplements. or movement. But as I stood in the shower reflecting kn her stretch marks Her roundness where I would like flatness  Her softness where I would like firmness All those conditioned wishes that a form a bundle of  Never-Quite-Right-Ness She whispered very gently: Could you just love me like this? -Hollie Holden yes, you can love what is, even when it’s not your ideal circumstances. Body image, career, finances, health, family life, etc. Mindfulness join us for a Free Mindful Breathing Meditation at the Gibson Park on Saturday at 10 am, and bring bottled water, a blanket and/or yoga mat. this event is open to the community and family-friendly. a mindful meditation will be led by local mindfulness coach, Bea. this meditation is for those who are experiencing physical and psychological symptoms of stress. These symptoms/conditions are not limited to, but may include: •ruminating thoughts •anxiety •depression •insomnia •tension •headaches •chronic pain and inflammation  •high blood pressure •cancer  •panic attacks  Mindfulness when practiced for at least 8 weeks consistently, has been shown to reduce physical and psychological symptoms of stress experienced by 40% See you there!
